Three Rivers Women’s 18-Hole Golf Club is a group of women who golf regularly on Tuesday mornings, beginning with the last Tuesday in March and continuing through October. We plan fun yet competitive, sometimes individual, sometimes team, golf outings. Our members represent a variety of golfing skills. We play the game according to the rules of golf, but an enjoyable experience is our main objective. Days of play are Tuesdays, beginning in 2020 with a Chapman format event on Tuesday, March 31, and concluding with a scramble on October 27.
One of the highlights of our year is sponsoring the Heritage Bank Women’s Scramble. With the help of Three Rivers Golf Course, we are able to put on a highly popular women’s tournament. A significant part of the sponsor money raised for this tournament has been given to local charities for the past several years.
Other activities offered are the Birdie Board, the chip-in pot, the Ec Board competition, the Summer Tournament, and the Club Championship.
Our members represent all skill levels, and new members are especially welcome. The club’s goals are to promote interest in golf among women and to help women develop a keener knowledge of the rules and etiquette of the game. We like to meet new people and play golf regularly.
Unless otherwise noted, the entry fee for each competition is $2. There is also an optional chip-in pot ($0.50). Players are asked to signed in by 8:15 a.m., at which time tee groups and times are drawn out of a hat.
Meetings are held in the Scottie Dog Café (above the Three Rivers Pro Shop), usually on the second Tuesday of each month at 8:00 a.m., with the following exceptions: April meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m.; July meeting will be held on June 30; August meeting will be held on August 4.
Membership fee for 2020 is $60, which includes a $36 annual GHIN (Golf Handicap and INformation, pronounced “jin”) fee. (Used for establishing and maintaining a USGA golfing handicap). Members who already have a GHIN membership through another club may pay just the $24 club dues. There is also a $5 optional annual fee for the Hole-in-One fund. For more information, please contact our Treasurer Melody Ott at (360) 577-9055. Or CLICK HERE to open a membership application form that you can download and print. Mail the form with your entry fee to: Melody Ott; 2502 Allen Street; Kelso WA 98626. Membership forms are also available in the women’s locker room above the pro shop.

Heritage Bank Women’s Scramble
One of the highlights of our year is sponsoring the Heritage Bank Women’s Scramble. With the help of Three Rivers Golf Course, we are able to put on this highly popular women’s tournament. A significant part of the sponsor money raised for the tournament has been given to local charities for the past several years.
The Heritage Bank Women’s Scramble will be held on July 22 and 23 this year. This competition features two-woman teams in a scramble format. The competition is open to women with a current USGA handicap. Entries must be received no later than July 12. Entries received by July 1 will be eligible for a $20 price reduction.
Please see a separate page under the WOMEN’S CLUB tab for more information about this event and a sign-up form (when finalized).
The Club Championship is a two-day, 36-hole “Medal Play” event. This year’s dates are August 11 and 12. The Club Champion will be the person with the lowest gross score for the two days. The person with the lowest net score will be awarded Low Net of the Field. There will also be other awards for gross and net within divisions, with the number of divisions depending on the number of entries. Sign-ups begin July 21 and end on August 4. Cost to participate is $10, and must be paid by August 4. Members must have participated in a combination of at least six Daily Play events or “qualified rounds” at Three Rivers Golf Course. At least three of these rounds must be daily play events.
Awards will be made within divisions for the members who record the most birdies during the season. Birdies may be posted only if they occur while participating in a regular Tuesday Daily Play event, or in the Summer Tournament or Club Championship.
Any member who has paid $5 to the Hole-In-One fund will win $50 if they score a hole-in-one on any day while golfing at Three Rivers Golf Course. The requirements for winning are as follows: 1) Player must have paid the $5 prior to scoring the hole-in-one; 2) The round must be posted and the Treasurer must be notified and shown the card with proper signatures; 3) Player must be golfing at Three Rivers Golf Course with another member of the association, a member of the 9-Hole Three Rivers Women’s Association, or with a member of Three Rivers Men’s Association.
